BPL and International Matches

In an accumulator or multi-bet, several selections are combined into a single bet. The odds of each selection are multiplied to calculate the total odds. Example: three selections at decimal odds of 1.50, 1.60, and 1.70 give total odds of 1.50 × 1.60 × 1.70 = 4.08; a ৳100 bet returns ৳408 if all win. If any one selection loses, the entire bet is lost and ৳100 is gone.
If a match is declared no-result due to rain or any other reason, ppvlp generally voids the bet for that match and returns the stake. In an accumulator, that selection is removed and the remaining odds are used to settle the bet. The specific terms are detailed on ppvlp's terms and conditions page.
Decimal odds are straightforward — stake × odds = total return. Say in a limited-overs match Team A has odds of 1.80 and Team B has odds of 2.00. A ৳500 bet on Team B returns ৳1,000 in total if Team B wins (৳500 profit + ৳500 stake); if Team A wins, the ৳500 stake is lost. Higher odds mean a larger potential payout but a lower probability of winning.

The most-bet market at ppvlp is match winner — which team will win. After that come top batsman, top bowler, over/under runs, and number of wickets in an innings. These markets are very popular among Bangladeshi players because BPL involves local teams. Markets related to Bangladesh Tigers matches are also especially active.
In a handicap bet, the weaker team is given a virtual run advantage and that number of runs is subtracted from the stronger team. For example, if Team B is given a +15 run handicap, settlement is calculated by adding or subtracting those runs from the final result. This makes the bet more even between closely matched sides.
